Who has a 620/6 AND a 620/12 ?
I have a 620/6 FG..and am scrounging.. saving.. for a RIC 12 string..
Originally I thought I might get a 330/12 or 360/12.... but the more I like my 620/6... the more I think I'd love to get a 620/12... I'm familiar with the body.. . 21 fret neck length and shape.. Might even get FG.. for a matching pair.. ( although the MID is sooo nice )
Who else out there got the pair... 620's.. 6 and 12 string? Toasters on the 12 string? same color?
Pictures too if you have 'em!

I have both 620s (6- and 12-string) in Midnight Blue. I'd post pictures, but both have the hardware removed ... the plan is to use them to make a "622/12 doubleneck" one day ...
Both came with high-gains, but I have a set of toasters that are intended for the 12-string half.
It is better, of course, to know useless things than to know nothing. - Seneca

Mark -
I had both a 620 and a 620/12 as a teenager, and have recently reacquired replacements in the past few years...
So I too have both again... Certain features - like Kluson tuners and the smaller pre 1983 headstock were essential for me - so it basically meant looking around to find them used...

Wow.. a rarity it looks like.. 620's
I was expecting maybe Ontario_Ric would jump in .. ( as I've seen his signature )
so that's : ONE.
as the other <doctorwho> has his in parts.. for a 622 project!
Thought there would be more!
I bet there are dozens! - who own a 6 and 12 in the model 330 or 360!
Well.. I'll post pics with I join the 620 6/12 club!

Mark - this was my first two 620's... Both lost in a fire in 1991. The 12 string belonged to Chris De Burgh before me...Ric_MEL wrote:Wow.. a rarity it looks like.. 620's

Re: Who has a 620/6 AND a 620/12 ?
I just found a video of Chris De Burgh playing a 12 string on youtube yesterday. Is this the same guitar?Ontario_RIC_fan wrote:Mark - this was my first two 620's... Both lost in a fire in 1991. The 12 string belonged to Chris De Burgh before me...

Jason:
Yup same guitar, from June 1980 - TF2140 - I owned it longer then he did!
More you tube videos of it at this thread.... viewtopic.php?f=11&t=392484
I replaced it with one from November 1980...
