Greetings from Cleveland, Ohio!

Post by Full Cleveland »

I am a new member and I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Warren and I live in Cleveland. I have no Rickenbacker yet, but I hope to buy a 330 within a month, after I sell one of my guitars to finance the purchase. I play rhythm guitar in a Classic Rock band, The Karma Kings www.thekarmakings.com with Jeff Scott, whom most of you probably know. I have contracted Rickenbackeritis from Jeff, for which I understand there is no cure. I played his 330 and I'm hooked. I had played one before back in college and I liked it then as well. I have several acoustic guitars, all hand made, and an Epiphone Sheraton, which is no slouch, but the 330 is better balanced and lighter and a bit easier to play. Besides playing rhythm in the band, I play fingerstyle acoustic as well. So anyway, here I am and I'm sure you'll hear more from me after I get my guitar. Just a suggestion; you ought to have a dedicated "Introductions" section for new members. I belong to a forum for audiophiles and we have one. I find it a nice way to get to know new people and allow them to make their first posts if they don't quite know where to start.

One of my favorite places! I like the Elliot Ness beer. Also the crab cakes are delicious! We'll definitely have to go next time you come in.

Warren --- we're glad to hear that Karma Kings is finally getting a serious  Rickenbacker enthusiast on board
And the state of Ohio has been under-represented with the meager quantity of postings on the Forum.... so you have your work cut out for you.

Glad to have you in the RRF --- and we assume with Jeff hosting the Photography section of the RRF that you will post pics of your new Ric !!!

I think Rich was referring to one member, in particular, who doesn't post much on the forum.
