Jim,

I actually forgot about the software completely after I started working. I may have even lost the disk, but if I find it I will let you know. I could even send you a disk image of it if you want to try it out, lemme know.

I don't know how important that would be, Kira. Thanks anyhow. I think I'll just take my chances, experiment with it on my own, and if I like it, all's well. If I don't, then there are other options. And in the whole process, hopefully I'll learn something.

I've got my hands full with Logic. I think the only other software I need would be some plug-ins for it. I have a friend who can take it a step farther with pro noise reduction and processing, but that's some billion-dollar software.

I'd be just as happy if someone else would run the computer for me and just let me think about the music, if truth be told. This chief-cook-and-bottle-washer stuff gets old.

Girls just wanna have fun, ya know?

All I really wanna do is........(oh, funny how old songs get stuck in your head at the oddest of times.) Anyway, all I really wanna do is just get handy enough with that computer based recording stuff to knock out some rough demos for the string band for instance, or perhaps turn out some practice trax for myself, songwriting demos, that sort of thing. Commercial quality recording can be done by some other folks I know.

My friend blows harp through a mike he calls the "green bullet". I think it came out of an Army camp PA system so you can imagine the sonic quality  but what that thing could do for a blues harp! Before the show you could also use it to nail the drum kit to the floor   pretty rugged
I use a green bullet to sing through at times, A great low-fi distorted vocal mike as well...
