summer solstice - today!

In the Northern Hemisphere, summer solstice begins on Jun 21 2010 at 7:28 AM EDT.... so summer IS officially here today - yeeeehaw!!!

It's Winter down here and the maximum for Sydney was a chilly 20 C.... Had to break out the thermal underwear to deal with these Arctic conditions.... Brr....

Summer ain't no picnic here in the Great American Desert; bugs, high humidity, 95°F in the shade, and there ain't no shade! I'm soooooooo homesick for the Pacific Northwest. Summer.....bah, humbug! :P

yeah, it's hard to get excited when it's 75 degrees in December. :shock:

Still, summer always means good times, and extra daylight is a good thing, so bring it on Summer!

Yeah, it's the longest day of the year in N. Montana, got all the way up to 22C....
