New Rickenbacker Dealer in Atlanta
I stopped by Atlanta Discount Music this weekend to buy a new tuner. I asked about a 330/12 hanging there and found out they are a Rickenbacker dealer again. Yeah!
Re: New Rickenbacker Dealer in Atlanta
Cool, last I checked they were on the waiting list. That was a few years back.
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

Always good to hear of a new dealer!

They used to be an authorized dealer, but haven't been for a few years now. Great to hear that they're back in w/RIC. George & Marshall are good guys.

Fantastic news!
I went to look it up, and to my suprise, I've been there a few times! Even better news.

Great to hear, especially that Midtown Music is no longer a dealer.

Yah, it's a real shame that MM went under. They were great.kennyhowes wrote:Actually, Midtown is just plain no longer!beatlefreak wrote:Great to hear, especially that Midtown Music is no longer a dealer.
I went to Atlanta Discount the other day and they were talking about about you, Kenny! One of the guys said he used to work with you at GC.

Indeed. Although technically the store didn't go under - the owner retired and closed the retail shop. He still owns the building and runs music lessons in it.egosheep wrote:Yah, it's a real shame that MM went under. They were great.Last guitar I bought there was a '62 Mustang for $350.00.
Were they calling me unprintable names?egosheep wrote:I went to Atlanta Discount the other day and they were talking about about you, Kenny! One of the guys said he used to work with you at GC.
'Tis true, I've worked with a couple of those guys before.

Kenny is famous. I was in Wuxtry a couple weeks ago. I know Kenny worked there too and I mentioned to the owner that I recently bought something from him, and his response was "Was it a Rickenbacker?"
When Midtown Music was closing I bought a load of guitars and related equipment. Still kicking myself over not getting a 325 and a 660.

I went by there this afternoon; that 330/12 was looking mighty nice. It'll be a good day to the lucky one who snags it.
