Yeah, Daniel is awesome. :)

"Ask" is a song that Craig Gannon claimed to have written himself, which he said was "stolen" by Johnny Marr.

Yeah, that theory might be a little more acceptable if "Ask" wasn't 110% Marr's signature style of layered riffs. Even if Gannon "did" write it, he would have completely stolen Marr's style.

It would just seem weird... because it's like, oh he wrote the other 72 songs in the catalog with no problem. He couldn't help but nick this one, though!

He's not all that bad when it comes to R.E.M. either:

Great stuff. I thought he was a member? Or did my old brain fool me again? Also--he mentions using some of his Dad's gear, so maybe there's a two-for possibility here.
If it is to be, it is up to me.

+1. This guy is just a joy to listen to. Also, what a glorious Ric collection. I love hearing him do Driver 8 on his 330/12. Just beautiful!

Some people have weapons arrays up their street, but of course, Scott has a really great music array in his!

I love his How Far Is Now video a lot. Also Radio Free Europe. His own stuff's good as well, tbh :D
