Add another to that number.
Mine is a '67, which is in Dales possession now...having the fretboard replaced.

Judging from the "redundancy" photo he posted on the BARC thread, I thought they were all at Jeff Scott's house!

Here are some pics of Jim's striking 1982 White 4005:

Maybe he now has a worn out sector of his hard drive where his pics are from getting posted so much?kiramdear wrote:rickinroma wrote:Jeff, where's the picture?
Welcome to the forum, James!
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: The Hunt For The 4005
Two more pics -- the last one showing a side view of the white body binding. This combination of a black pickguard and TRC with white binding strikes me as unusual -- in a good way!

Welcome to the RRF!
One of these days, I'm going to have to get me one of them 4005's...
Hmm, Jeff must be having some issues - that picture is still not here...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: The Hunt For The 4005
Here's a picture of that Jetglo bass you all crave, I hope this sates you folks.

...and?

I don't see it Gary.

Peter, do you want to create a model designation specific for the RM3261?

I bought my 4005 #GJ4364 in late 1967 in New Haven, CT. I was 15. It now resides with me in Ojai, CA. I keep SIT Power Flats on it and get a smooth hollow sound in all registers. It makes a great companion to my 1993 4001CS.
