Delrin vs. Bakelite Nut

Post by NFB-418 »

I am considering replacing the bakelite nut on my 4003 with the vintage delrin one. I know I may have to sand the bottom and/or deepen the slots to dial it in. My main concern is the vintage nut's width; is it the same as the bakelite's width? Thanks.

I have one of each, never installed (not for sale though). The only difference is the color/material. They are identical in size, shape and slotting.

Jay, I have a new take off vintage Delrin nut (came right off the bass after it was purchased). $6.00 shipped.
