Thanks Kyra! Despite it is not a perfect-mint-example I was really thrilled after played through my '64 AC30.
I have other two 12 strings Rickies, a '66 330 who sounds really close and a '04 330 who sounds very dumb if compared to the C63. In my opinion this model captures jangle sound in the best possible way for a recent guitar :D
Top craftmanship, scatterwounds and x-braces is a perfect combination!

Congrats, Gabriele! :D

Sometimes, not being perfect is what we really need. My '67 330 is a fantastic guitar even though it had some neck repair done to it.

Last night I've played with my band at a private party. Songlist based on classics 60s beat/80s garage, w/myself playing half organ half guitar. After regular show people called us out again: I played organ parts with C63 on same songs previous played. What can I say? This guitar is a damned killer weapon for every season :D

North Coast e-mailed (and called!) me to ask whether I still want the 360 C63/12 which is due to be manufactured in late October. He asked the wrong question. (the right one would be whether I will be OK after I sell a body part to pay for it!). Gee, it's sort of like pregnancy - knowing when my guitar will be coming into the world!

Good luck with your "pregnancy" Michael:
considering birth average time of 9 months your baby is coming soon :)

I notice you're 28th in line at NCM, Michael. Gary must be expecting to get a whole lot of the next run or two of 360/12C63s, or you've still got quite a wait ahead of you.

Yup, I'm number 2 on the list at Pick of the Rics. I put my deposit down in March of '07 and the guitar was ordered in October of '06, so I'm feeling pretty lucky about this batch!

By the way, in case anyone at the factory happens to read this, while I certainly am a Beatles fan that is not the main reason I ordered this guitar. I just love the Vintage spec OS style models and think this is the ultimate Ric 12 string....................so, if you happen to make one out of super flamey wood and it goes to Pick of the Rics, please put my name on it. I won't be disappointed if it doesn't look exactly like George Harrison's!

Cheers :) 8)

Thanks Gabriele! it seems there are a whole bunch of us expectant Moms and Dads out there awaiting the stork! Kris; my guess is that a fair number of NCM's waiting list may have dropped out, as many of the orders were placed before the market meltdown. Dan; looks like you're way up in the queue. I hope you'll post pictures and that you get your flamey C63 just the way you want it! And Paul, in case your savings materialize magically, I do believe there may be a mint jetglo over on the "for sale" section right this very minute!

All I know is my wait was more than three years, for a guitar that Gary already had on order.

I´ve just received my brand new 360/12C63. Gorgeous guitar!
I have a couple of question that you may help with.
The bridge pickup is Long pole and read about 7 Kohm and the Neck pickup is Short pole and Flatback and reads about 3.5K Noticeable weaker when both pickups are active (the top of the guitar is routed under the neck pickup).
Is this correct? shouldn´t both pickups be on the 7 kohm range?
Cheers

This is an interesting question. Have all the 360/12C63's been made with this PU combination since it was introduced?
Anyone care to comment?
