I actually ordered a poster. Gotta be the first Rick featured on a movie poster (I know there are other posters). Talk about product placement! This should cause a spike in orders at that dormant RIC factory, doncha think?

Oh, if the original poster needs details, it's a current fit (2008-2010) 4003 in Fireglo, witness the full-width position markers.

I saw this poster at the mall a while ago, all I thought was "oh hey a Rickenbacker", I didn't even care for the movie, it was only the bass I was interested in. Sadly they photoshopped out the Rickenbacker name on the truss rod cover... :(

  Oh no, the back order for basses just tripled... :(
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Do you think it'll have that big of an impact? I wonder. If it does I doubt we see it sooner than five years from now.

Joshua, it could have an impact. Ads can be very powerful. For instance, look at the big chain restaurants with food that tastes terrible and/or is bad for you, that are packed with people every day because of advertising.
At least there is a high quality product n the Scott Pilgrim poster! Playing a Rick shows you have good taste and playing/hearing one good for ya too!
