i haven't either-they are not all that easy to come by-but i am curious-they also have the more traditional body wings,so they may be a bit closer in sound to 4001/3 series. i am extremely happy with my cii, just curious about the laredo.

I think pickup placement and harness are doing more to change the tone personally. I know the Cii is supposed to be dark sounding because of the walnut, but I've never picked that up.woodyng wrote:i haven't either-they are not all that easy to come by-but i am curious-they also have the more traditional body wings,so they may be a bit closer in sound to 4001/3 series. i am extremely happy with my cii, just curious about the laredo.
