I still have a few months to go before I can start getting excited... But going through this thread sure gets the anticipation up.
I have to say this is probably my most favorite thread on the forum.

Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
Oh, yes. Marc, Ron, and Peter, all very close in that order. Marc's Mary Kay white 700C/6 with tortoise binding on body and headstock, 1 5/8" nut, and iMix pickup system, will be shipped tomorrow. Jerry Juden's "Acanthus" Dreadnought, which spent some time in my shop getting an intonation issue sorted, will also go out tomorrow. Ron's 4000 will be going out later this week, and Peter's is one of two basses going to Germany later in July, fake fret and all.
Dean, yours is still a couple/few months off.
One advantage of getting to work on Jerry's 730 again, is that I've gotten a chance to spend some time photographing it for my records. He's also ordered a matching 12-string, which is coming up soon and which will have the same pattern on the top, but in a different color.

Here's Marc's Mary Kay white 700C/6, with tortoise binding and iMix pickup. This one was made with a special narrow neck for his son's smaller hands; still quite playable by an adult as well, with a nut width similar to that of a modern Rick electric.

The next acoustic off the line is going to be another dreadnought. Aquaglo over nicely-figured maple and lovely tight-grained spruce. Pics very soon.
There are two BBR 700Cs in the works and a gorgeous deep burst 730L/12, too.
Electrics: The basses mentioned above, a 370/12 McGuinn, and another C57. The '56 Combo 400 is coming along nicely, and there are no less than 2 short-scaled Combo models, along with a '62 425 and a '60 Capri in a very unusual color scheme. All are quite special, most of these are in paint awaiting assembly.
