That's a beauty you got there. I'm a big fan of the full width inlays, I'm really glad they went back to those.
Rock on, rock often

I had to read this post before I figured it out.

Congrats on the new 360! Mapleglo - my favorite! :D 8)

scotty wrote:Congrats LOL im pretty sure the blems are just the glue from the neck joint nothing to worry about there.

Yeah, kids these days with all their acronyms/text-style writing!
IIRC YMMV, etc.

Thanks everybody for the congrats!! :)

I figured as soon as I saw the the "blems", that it was just some glue seep-over from the neck joint. Big hairy deal! I can live with that!

Hi Higgy! :D Yeah I have been scarce on the GDP lately. I had to sell the Tim Armstrong a couple of months ago, when my car ended up needing an emergency set of new tire (I discovered to my shock that the tire sidewalls were so badly cracked, that they were inserious danger of failing at any time - try looking for a place to put new tires on your car at 7 PM! on a Wednesday night). After that happened, remorse over selling Baby, my old jetglo 360 to get the 'Setzer Hot Rod I had last year, hit me bigtime. So I had to take care of that GAS. I'm still debating what to do about my Gretsch affliction. As you know Filtertrons usually leave me feeling "meh!" But I can't afford another Country Club, with Dynas like Charlotte had. I don't know if I just want to get another Junior Jet (I have a line on a cheap one at a Music Go Round, 100 miles from me, but it means fighting my way through Chicago rush hour traffic for the drive back to Wisconsin) for some punk & roll. Ah do luvs muh hollows & semi-hollows.

Many of the major online retailers list returned items as "blemished", so this was probably just a return. Looks like a heck of a deal and a real cool guitar. My Jetglo 330 has the same finish issue around where the neck meets the body, and scanning through tons of pictures it seems this is very common even on brand new instruments. I've been told it's nothing to worry about, so play the guitar worry freee and enjoy

That was a thought i had too - that it might be a return. If it is, the warranty car wasn't filled out (I filled it out, and sent it in).

Thanks Frank! :) I went to so much trouble to get back Baby, my old 360 in late 2008 (I never thought I'd see it again, after selling it during a money crunch in Aug. 1999), only to stupidly sell it several months later. Unfortunately it took me over a year to realize my stupidity. When I did, it hit me very hard! Thankfully that's all past. It's good to have a Ric again!
