It's difficult to judge across different genres ... I liked at least one other.
Gives me an idea for another poll on different versions.

Crickets did a good version but as someone has already said BF4 is the definitive version.

I'll have to post a video of Unknown Hinson's version. Of course, he did change the lyrics to "I Fought The Law and I Won!", lol!

The thing is, they're a terrific band, and their live show is somewhere between fantastic and surreal (i knooow...), but when it comes to actually covering somebody else's songs (as opposed to, ahem, borrowing a tune that was written and recorded a few years before the three were even conceived), they sound somewhat plastic and uninspired.jimk wrote:Green Day wasn't half bad.
