A L'il Customizing.

I did some parts changing on my used 4003 JG,and I like the result.
Thanks to messers. Boyer and Howes for the parts.
The pickguard arrived with the border painted white, which gave me the idea to likewise the TRC.
I like the way it matches uo with the binding.
Finding a bottle of Pactra model paint took a little doing, and I don't think the quality is as good as it used to be when I was a model building kid.

Yeah, that was the idea I had a few years ago. I swapped the white-bordered TRC to Joey for a plain old white one, and you got the PG. This bass ended up going to Phillip Nearrt (sp?) in the Netherlands.
