Yes and no... if you're the news anchor I'd fire you - you're generalising!

I believe our resident Gibson expert (and Gibson Europe employee) just fired you Mitch. Do you need a shovel to dig your way out of this?

If not, he'll certainly need it to find Francisco Franco.

Well, I did say you were GENERALising, right?

Gibson USA will be up and running again shortly - it'll be like new. But then new anno 2010!
The other Nashvillains - Gibson Custom - is fine, was fine, will be fine (or so I hope)

I called Gibson this morning and the CSR I spoke with told me that the Nashville plant is still closed and could not tell me when my guitar would be shipped because all their inventory had been destroyed by the flood. So there is that...

Not sure what your point is, but to me it comes across as selfishness. Compared to losing your house, or maybe loved ones, in a flood the delay of your guitar is nothing!

Pardon me,I made a bad joke based on the old 1970's Saturday Night Live Weekend Update routine about Franco as in the youtube video above.Sorry,it is only funny if you watched that show every week in the late 1970's.

I was not complaining about Gibson's Factory being closed, just explaining how I knew that it was closed.

This is a typical case on one culture's popular references not being understood by one from another culture.

I'm sure no offense was intended, other than "ordinary" offensiveness...

Anytime a clip of when Garrett Morris does his news for the hearing impaired, my wife and I love it as she's a sign language interpreter.
