There is serious talk that 70 is not to be out of the question in coming years!
I heard that too SB. It will be the same here in the U.S. pretty soon. Everything flows west but the jet stream :) .

Then one day they will change it to. When you are born, you have started retirement. When you graduate school, your retirement is now over and it's time to work till death to pay for your retirement.

Well it's been a couple days on this thread but I'm waiting for my baby to arrive. Tomorrow??? (if they are correct on the tracking). I found out today that FEDEX was closed the 4th, 5th & 6th
I'm a federal worker and I didn't even get all those days off.
Heck I could have drove to New York and got it sooner. It rained all weekend and nothing to do but stu over a Rick I WANT TO PLAY!!!!
Gosh it was a long weekend. But maybe the sun will shine tomorrow with a FEDEX truck at the drive.
I will take pics and share if the slow boat/truck ever arrives.

Finally got her!!!
Here is a pic of me in my backstage duds.
Man she felt sooooo good. I had to grab another beer after that shot. :D

Then another with my son and his burgundy Fender Strat. We have some catching up to do.
Note, my son is a little taller than me but I was in my playing stance too which shows me a little shorter than normal. 8)
A 1973 4001 Burgundyglo with FWI & CB - $$$$.$$
A new strap - $25.00
A new audio cord - $15.00
To jam with my son.... priceless...

Great pics! Beautiful Bass! :D

One of these days I hope to find my '74 4001 Mapleglo I had to sell to pay the bills...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Tom, great looker you have there! I'll bet it sounds as sweet as it looks! Just the kind of thing that will make the time until retirement bearable!!! Enjoy it often and have fun jamming with your son.
