Chances of repairing a bowed 4003 neck?

I once bought a 4001v63 that had a horribly bowed neck. Turned out the issue was the space bar between the truss rods. Needed to be replaced. Once I did that, adjusted the rods as per Joey's notes, the neck was straight as an arrow.
