Vintage Rickenbacker Catalogue Photos

Post by Grey »

Alright, so I thought this might be a neat idea for a thread. I was digging around to see if the 480/481 was featured in any promotional stuff outside of it's origional listing in the Rickenbacker catalogue, and came across this image that was in a PDF on some Japanese website, so I pieced it together into a single image.

Than I thought it might be a neat idea to start a thread seeing if other people had any copies or scans of old Rickenbacker catalogues, featuring weird models or otherwise. Might as well see how it goes. I didn't think this would fit in the photography forum because that seems to be mainly for people posting pictures of their guitars.

So to kick things off i'll start and we'll see if other people join in.

I agree with that:

No 480 listed in there, but I agree on old catalogues (official RIC cats or sales cats) being shared through scans - it's interesting to see how they presented the models, and in what order.

The RIC site has a number of catalogues archived, including http://www.rickenbacker.com/catalog_pos ... cf75-8.jpg. The rest are under the history pull-down.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

I'd guess it to be around 1975.

Right, like I said i've never seen any outside of that origional catalogue listing and the one I found isn't on the website.

Kinda funny, here's an old Greco catalogue I dug up showing a couple Ric copies.
