Anyone leave a vintage 4001 at GC Totowa?

Post by marc61 »

I tried to take pics but, only had my cell phone and they didn't come out. Looked to be a 72 4001mg with a horseshoe pickup, Nice looking bass. My buddy who works there said it's been in the shop for a while slowly getting repairs and/or tweaks.

Thinking of the scene Ferris Bueller where the parking attendant took the fine automobile for a ride after being dropped off, I asked my friend if I could....well...forget it! No paws allowed on the fine machine.

Anyone fess up to ownership? or can tell us more about it?

Not mine, but I've seen it there for quite awhile.

Just for the record, GC guitar repairers are independently contracted. The Tampa guy, Charles, is awesome, I take my stuff to him. I did know him from his previous employer, though, an independent music store.
