It's a Great Time to Have Some Cash Lyin' Around....

Post by stringsncords »

Just recently, the following guitars sold on the 'Bay....

A mint-condition 360 CW for $2,299

A mint-condition 350/12 V63 for $1,575

A near-mint 1999 381 for $2,350

And just today, a mint-condition Burgundy 660 for $1,308 (a very quick best-offer sale - only 8 hits on the listing)

And there are lots of 330's and 360's that are well under $1,500

BUY, BUY, BUY!

Keep in mind that about a year ago, prices were about 2/3 to 3/4 of what they are now. You could easily pick up a 325 for $1500.

That's what stoopid me did and it was in such terrific shape I was afraid to bend over it and get dandruff on the JetGlo finish. Finally sold it, at a small profit because the short scale didn't agree with my chubby hands.

Like I said, stoopid me....

I've got a lil' bit of cash, trying to come up with enough from various places so the wife doesn't notice there's no grocery money in the budget while I have a new toy to play with - slippery slope!

Unless I put a hat for her to toss into while practicing in the basement, that arguement might not hold water... Be a while before I'm ready for public playing!
