Nice! I'll have to try this technique for fine-tuning on my fretless (which, alas, is non-Rick, but I like it anyway :wink: ).

I'd expect one further advantage is that it's in tune when you double-stop by laying one finger across two adjacent strings, something I do fairly often.
Turn on, tune up, rock out!

Not unless you watch your technique carefully. In certain places on the neck a barred chord starts to develop an angle with me... Just keep an eye on it, or intonate around it. Two strings are easier to play "straight" than three though, so no big worries I suppose.
