can't resist to post this too. Rockin' out with my Dean "edge" - it actually is a pretty good guitar for the price!

Jeff: The pickup in my '63 looks just like exibit B. It has that same thin, soft plastic bobbin.

I wish we had one... our rhythm guitar player said he was going to make one. As of yet... no website (lol). The name of the band is ' The Insomniacs '. I'll let everyone know, when or if a website is made.

Cool......... seems you have the same habit as I.... wearing dark clothes with a dark blue bass, you just can't see the #@*^ thing. LOL

Besides that stage I was playing on was lit with some kind of black light or something, it was hard to see ANYTHING on that stage. That was the only picture where you could see anything but the pickguard!
Now I have a 73MG and I can go all black and not worry about being able to see it!

Is that a 4001s Azureglo Daniel or is it the picture that doesn't let me see the binding? I have a 78 4001 Azureglo.

Bob: It is actually a '82 4003S AzureGlo, no binding on the body or neck. Steve used to own it and sold it to me on the 'Bay', I think he regrets it now.... but at least it's still on the stage and not in a corner gathering dust.
Steve: I also have a 2003 MG, haven't gigged with it yet, it doesn't have the same tone as the 'S' has.
