Re: Guitar collection photo
In case anyone's missed it, here are the Ricks at least. One of these days I'll have to put together a Gretsch shoot, and maybe a Fender shoot:
Re: Guitar collection photo
I have 5 more not in the photo. One of these days, I will have to drag all of them out and get some shots.

Hey Bob Combs, tell me about that Turquoise bass. Is that an old one refinished to look new, or a new one modified to look old? I notice the 1/2" spacing, Toaster(?), and sparkle inlays. Love to see more on that.

Well Paul, it is a PW refin and is actually Azureglo. Cheap camera and bad lighting. Here is the background on it:bassduke49 wrote:Hey Bob Combs, tell me about that Turquoise bass. By the time I bought it, it had been stripped of everything. So I bought some new parts and bought a few non-period items on eBay. It's a player not a collector piece to me. Thinnest neck I have ever played on a Rick!

Craptacular cell phone pic...

Top L-R: Feb. '07 325c64; Dec. '93 330; modified '07 Les Paul R8; my uncle's newly-restored '60 Gretsch 6120.
Bottom L-R: Chinese Epiphone acoustic; Carvin kit guitar; heavily modified Squier Strat with Allparts V-neck; Korean Gretsch acoustic.
Amps: Crate GX-15R, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe in blond.
Not pictured: Epi Les Paul.
I'm trying to get a well-rounded collection. I want a big ol' jazzbox, a nice acoustic, a Casino, a bass of some kind, and a Rick 12er.
