I think they match the curvature of the Earth, so yes, there is a radius to the fingerboard.

Anyway, it hasn't had its final sanding and buffing, so it looks a bit bumpy. Rest assured it will be glass-smooth before assembly and shipping!

My 430 has the same flat fret board. One gets used to it fairly quickly. It's actually quite nice, and very good for slide setup.
