Thanks for posting. Interesting comment about sharing the Byrds name around with the others.
In the time-line of things, Jim, when they did the original Byrds ReUnion album there in 1973 -- what status was the Clarence White - Skip Batin version of McGuinn's band in, at the time ?? Were they on a hiatus ?
I know there were Michael Clarke tours in subsequent years, claiming they were the Byrds.. but that's a whole other story.

I need to get a copy of Johnny Rogan's book to be certain. I believe that as the reunion LP was being recorded, the White/Battin version of the Byrds had stopped touring, and that McGuinn had actually disbanded that version of the group. The reunion LP was released in March, '73, I think. I'm a little uncertain of the chronology, here.
