Showing off my son

Post by marc61 »

We're hopefully going into the studio soon to record one,or both of these. I think he did a nice job considering he had no way of monitoring himself. Constructive criticism always appreciated, or if you have a favorite of the two.

Me too. It's short and catchy, and if recorded properly might even catch some people's attention.

I'm very prejudiced when it comes to this kid(and why not?) - Every time I see them promote young talent, while it's exciting, I always think "yeah but does the artist compose and arrange the music?". Evan works real hard it all aspects of the music. He's just gotta find a replacement for the big fella on the bass. For some reason, when anyone asks him to, it's a deal breaker for him

I like them both! I think Joey could be a good suitable replacement for the old man on bass  , plus it may be a good excuse for him and Diane to get back to NY.

Cool! I also like the first one a shade more than the second. Enjoy your studio session...

Joey can replace me any time. I'd be honored...

Actually, I've tried to retire on bass...stick to roadie, manager etc...but the kid likes me there.

Very anxious to get back into the studio. I believe we can do much better than our first effort.

Thanks Joey..much appreciated

Wow Mitch...songs on Nuggets..now that's a compliment...Thank you. We do hear that we're a flashback kinda band. I think that's a good thing cuz most of today's music is kinda sad

Also wanted to add...I get more youtube hits fom posting my vids here than any other site. Shows us Ric fans are true music supporters
