Post by bartyclue »

Has anyone ever sent a bass back to the factory for a refinish? If so how much did it cost? Do they even do this? How long will it take etc? Just bought a 75 4001 and she could use refurbish..or am i fool to do this?

RIC does not do out of warranty work of any kind, they did do some refinish work years ago. These days your best bet is one of the guys here, like Paul Wilczynski or Larry Davis.

Somebody was suggesting to me the other day that I should send my 21 for a factory refin but I suspected this might be the case (although according to that Youtube footage they are fixing Lemmy's! ) I wish Paul and Larry (and Dale) were in the UK and a lot less busy!
