I've edited the first post. I made the first vid display but removed the second link. Not due to having no Rick content, but due to a comment on the first page of the link.
Before you post a video link, please watch the whole video and read the comments on the first page for content that is inappropriate for this forum.

I don't get this, you mean you cannot even link to pages where there are (oh so horrible) swear words? We are here because of our love for music, artistic expression and rock 'n' roll, right? How does bizarre "moral" positions like that correspond with that? I can accept (even if I disagree with such stupid pseudo moral standards) that certain language may not be appreciated on the actual board, but for heavens (appropriate enought?) sake, why not allow links to whatever we as users want to show others? How far can you push that principle? Can I not link to the R.E.M. song Ignoreland because of its lyrics ? Can I not link to Tom Jones "What's new Pussycat"?

On topic, great band, especially live, and a cool song. Pretty ambitious guitar collectors as well, some of those guys.

Yeah, thanks for the info. Didn't really help though. Questionable moral standards by organisations that really shouldnt talk about other's morality at all are always distriburing.

Let me make sure I have this one nailed.

Linking to songs with swear words in appended comments, is out, but only if such comments appear on the first page of comments under the you-tube vids. Presumably because no member of the forum has access to a point-and-click facility on their computers to view later comments.

However, linking to songs positively discussing consumption of substances which are (unlike swearing) both illegal and injurious to long term physcial and mental health, like, say, oh "Eight miles high" by the Byrds, is perfectly acceptable.

Correct?

Good tune. I had no idea they had a Rick bass. A friend of mine got me into them. We played a couple of their tunes on the Rock Band game and he gave me their albums. Short sweet and to the point.

Dr Matt Destruction might be using a Rick in the video, but it doesn't sound like one in the recording.

His main bass was an old Tele bass with a neck mudbucker - I'm thinking that's what it is on this recording too.
