yes, after about 5 years it sat in its case and the already corroded PU's were shot when i took it back out. rickenbacker at the time didnt have any pick ups in stock so i took a chance and bought those. i still have the original PU's.

1982, end of the 4001 era. Also, if your original pickup windings are still good, I have higain chrome covers that would fit.

This one's from the late 80s (1987 I think)...it's my lieutenant Worf phase.... 4001 1980JG
