As much as I like Mapleglo, I think I'll leave this one as is.

I think one of the best examples of "goldening" of MG is Robin Zander's 450 guitar. For decades I thought it was a gold finish Rick with a shiny gold pickguard. I never knew it was simply a vintage MG finish. Very cool!

Im playing "middle man" for this excellent '88 V63 bought from a fellow forum member earier this week.(unless I decide to keep it )

Its aged very well. A nice even gold patina.

Here's a quick shot of it along side of my '08 Laredo. Amazing what 20 will do to CV. My Laredo is pale in comparison.

Oh no,,, the shoes are wrapped up and safely tucked away.

The guard is not orginal, I had Tony D. at pickguardian make me a replacement with the tug bar holes drilled for a bit more "vintage" look.
