What a cool clip! I hadn't seen that one before. I knew that the Who had started out as an R&B band, but I've never heard anything from that period until now. They certainly had an American R&B sound, more so than they did later. Oo Poo Pah Doo--I used to play that one in the garage with my cousin, probably about the same time period that the High Numbers were playing it in London clubs. And it looks like Townshend's playing his Rick through a Fender amp--pretty unusual for a British band in those days.

I've seen that one at least 5 times...and it never gets old!

Not only is no apology necessary for posting it, but I vote that RickResource find a way to automatically re-post a new thread with this video every 6 months or so!
