Just a dream... but what a dream!

Post by Low End Lover »

I am sure that most of you have seen this, but for those who haven't, here's some nice Rickenporn for you:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rickenbacker-1999-T ... 3a5e970c90

I saw this and began to think to myself, "Maybe TobaccoBurst will be the COY for 2011 because Ric is going to start taking orders again and I will be able to order a 4003FL in TobaccoBurst!!!"

I know, I know, someone pull me back down to earth. However, if anyone wants to feed my delusion, e.g. John Hall, I will be more than happy to let them! :D

I think "so far" is the important bit here unfortunately.
I'm pretty sure that it won't be coming this side of the pond to me - taxes & import duties would probably end up doubling the finishing price.

Talking of flame maple CJ, that MG of yours is the most beautiful flame I've ever seen on a Rick
Can we have a bit more talent in the monitors please.....?

It doesn't do it for me. Can't quite put my finger on it, but just not my cup of tea.

+1

I don't care for black plastic and hardware. It looks cheap to me. Great finish though, and I really like the fact that Rick does this once in a while.

Ah, that would be because that one is the one-off RIC bass from the time before last.

This is what it looks like from the back:

Someone must have retracted his bid. It's at $2,550 now, reserve not met, less than 10 hours to go.
