Had my Rick stolen and recovered by police within one day using info I acquired through a series of phone calls.

Turned out a 'friend' of mine was involved.

That was in 1979,....still got it.

Hey, Bryce -

What's the name of the band? I always love hearing new music, especially when someone in the band plays a Ric.

amazing it was recovered that quickly - good thing too as they leave on tour in a week or so.

the band is called Manchild - just recording for the first time now. they'll be opening of another band from Calgary, Women:

it is a pretty tight/incestuous scene in Calgary. sort of a 6-degree situation (if that), both these bands were spawned from members of a band previous.

Great, now bribe the cops so you can beat the tar out of him/her for five minutes...

I'm not a big fan of thieves.
I'm no fan of thieves at all. However, I challenge anyone to beat the tar out of me. It's just not possible. :)

If anyone beat the tar out of you, you'd be only "r."

It takes a heartless criminal to steal a musical instrument. One has to also be a fool to try and make off with a Rickenbacker. It's just too airtight a community, thanks to this forum and the company website.

Wow, I'm impressed. Thiefs are cowards and in this case stupid. To get that instrument back is amazing. This forum has more benefits the more I read.
