I post things like this in both places. Some people who aren't necessarily readers of the RRF might read it on my FB page.

Very good!!!! In a related note (sort of!), McGuinn is supposed to begin posting some of his Folk Den songs on YOU TUBE!!! That should be really interesting.

Wow! Cool. That would be the perfect place to be doing that. Where did you pick up this bit of information, Karl?

Hi, Jim:

To tell you the truth, I don't remember where i saw that Roger will be posting songs on YouTube. But, I do remember that it was a reputable source-- it was a couple of months ago.

Still, Roger shifts gears easily. He also announced perhaps two years ago that he was going to release a Rickenbacker Christmas album (never happened) and, after Jacques Levy died, Roger was going to do a tribute CD (again, never happened).

Has anyone heard any news about Roger???

Hi, please see the thread - "McGuinn at Queen Mary - 8/13/10". According to Camilla, there's a biopic in progress. This might be what is mentioned in the thread "The real story of McGuinn's 1st RIC", which talks about a Folk Den documentary. According to Camilla at the gig and both of them during the radio interview, a new CD soon called "Rock the Gospel" and a 2011 trip to the UK via cruise ship, with lectures on the ship and gigs in the UK. Stay tuned for further details. Tom

Oh I hear about Chris Hillman quite frequently on another forum. It seems he and Herb Pederson are quite active playing here and there. Croz on the other hand, not so much.

yes, I'm aware that Chris has been active in Country Music, he had a great band in the 1980's.

Recently I saw a documentary on Crosby where he discovers he had a son, and the son is ALSO a musician,
no question some talents are inherited.

Yeah, I remember seeing that bit about Croz and his son. I think that might be a couple of years old by now. So I'm not sure what he has been doing musically in the last 9 to 12 months.

CSN has been touring quite a bit as support for Petty and on their own tour so he's active.

It all depends on which forum you're on.

Jim,

Thanks for those links to the Roger McGuinn interview. Unfortunately the footage got cut short. Can you send links to the rest (including the performance of "Turn! Turn! Turn!")?
