325/1996 intonation
Anyone know of a good gauge of strings to help this guitar stay in tune and intonate correctly ?

the standard 12 gauge Ric set is a good place to start. Some will use 13's. You need a heavy set on them to adjust for the scale length. Anything that's too light (11's and under) will be unstable. Once you find the right baseline, then there is of course the usual consideration of whether to go with flat wound or stick with rounds. Some find the flats too thumpy for their tastes. Best of luck with it.

I put TI Flatwound 13's on my 325's recently, and although very "thumpy" they stay in tune nicely. They really capture the Lennon sound, which is what I wanted; my dealer advised me to go with 13's, and I'm happy with the result.
