It's a 1987, and was one of the early ones that slipped by with Ric-O-Sound... it's really flawless for a 23-year-old guitar.

P.S. It looks like it has some nice natural ambering in the finish, too.

Cool enjoy.I recently got my V64 set up and put on the 12 saddle bridge and i am delighted with the results.

Thanks, Scott. I was thinking about the 12-saddle bridge. Interestingly, it seems to have pretty good intonation as is. That's a one-day opinion, however. Good suggestion!
