I just want to play some three or four chord stuff, whatever comes to mind. Can't I just get up there and do that, see who wants to follow?

I apologise, but I'm still learning to navigate this forum, so here's a few #'s I can jam on drums if other players need a break

Let Her Dance Bobby Fuller Four
I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better The Byrds
Hotel California The Eagles (sing/drums) *prior to drinks
You Really Got Me The Kinks
Radio Free Europe R.E.M.
Everyday is like Sundays Morrissey
Heart Full Of Soul The Yardbirds
Walk Dont Run The Ventures
It's Getting Better All The Time The Beatles

I know the feeling Jerry. As a bassist at these jams, it's not so easy to learn and memorize the bass lines to so many songs in a short time.shamustwin wrote:I just want to play some three or four chord stuff, whatever comes to mind. Can't I just get up there and do that, see who wants to follow?

Mark-check the Surf/Instro sets. You're on Walk, Don't Run.healydrummer wrote:I apologise, but I'm still learning to navigate this forum, so here's a few #'s I can jam on drums if other players need a break

It looks great Joey! I had posted keys as well, but they didn't take either.rickenbrother wrote:The song sheet has been updated again. Use the same link as in my previous post.
Surf/Instro guys-check Joey's list and let me know if we need to change anything.

I call it Meatball"s "Songs you can play drunk" rule.rickenbrother wrote:I know the feeling Jerry. I propose the National Anthem of 3-chord Rock Songs: G-L-O-R-I-A with at least 4 12-strings (can I sing it?).shamustwin wrote:I just want to play some three or four chord stuff, whatever comes to mind. Can't I just get up there and do that, see who wants to follow?

If you need another rythym guitar on Running Down A Dream, I would like to join in.JakeK wrote:I, too, want to sing on Runnin' Down a Dream. Want to sing a double lead vocal?elreydlp wrote:I've got a lot on my plate already, but I can play Feel A Whole Lot Better (along with most of this Forum, I assume!), sing and play rhythm on Runnin' Down A Dream, and play A Hard Days Night if you need. Will your Showman be present?
I'm playing rhythm on everything except a solo on "Refugee", which I hope everyone has watched the arrangement I want to base it off of because if we're not in sync...well...

BD-I'm out of RDAD, so knock yourself out!
I would also like to propose "Wild Thing" I'll bring my recorder for the solo.
