Ah, good.

Oh, my brother's band wanted to play 30 minute said, as does Paul S.'s band. Of course if I could get these dig dongs from the bands to actually use the signup sheet we'd already know that.

Jeez I'm tired; went to bed at 3 am, still woke up at 7:30 am. Gig last night. Represented with Big Red and the Blue Boy. :D

It just goes to show I shouldn't post without at least one cuppa joe in my system.

No waffles. Too tired. Scrambled eggs with cheese, super coffee with vanilla, fresh fruit, and some amazing icing and crumble-topped coffee cake donated by a roommate. :D

Is there a cover charge to get in ? I can't remember if there was one last year...Also what kind of security measures will there be ? If I remember correctly...last year John Hall's wife was personally checking serial numbers upon arrival and before exiting.I don't know about you guys, but I felt that my axe was safe.I even left for an hour for a Jack in the box run!

There is no cover charge for SCARF/Ricktoberfest®. We thought there might be a small cover charge if we needed to rent a PA and or drum kit. But that is not the case.
We can have a sign in sheet where people can list their Ricks w/serial #'s. So far, we have never had a problem with security at one of these events. It's the job of everyone in attendance to have a watchful eye out for possible thieves and trouble makers. One of the reasons why name badges is a good idea. Everyone knows who belongs to our group.

The song list has again been updated. This time I remembered to make it more printer friendly:

Oooooooo look, Jeffo posted. He must be coming to SCARF/Ricktoberfest®. What songs can I put you on the list for?

Just some info about our use of the stage at The Starting Gate for SCARF/Ricktoberfest®.
Jamming can start after the backline and PA are set up. I'm not sure exactly what time that will be. Probably late morning.
We must be off the stage by 8 PM, which includes all of the gear as well (PA also). So I guess we should be finished playing by 7:40 at the latest.
We can hang out at The Starting Gate after 8 PM if we wish. We can even leave the Ricks displayed in the back room until we've had enough of a stay.
The Starting Gate does not have wireless internet access, if anyone was thinking of taking a laptop.

There will be name badges. Everyone will sign in and take a name badge. If I have time, the name badges will be pre-printed with attendee names that I know of and they will also have a cool Ricktoberfest® graphic that was created by Scott Jehlik.
