Wow ! 8) :D That was one cool, marathon RickenJam session today !!!
Many thanks to Joey and Paulie for all their behind the scenes efforts in making this Confluence as special as it was.

We're glad that JH could hang out with everyone and a big thank you to all the participants, spectators, jammers, displayers, guys who provided promo CDs, guys who coordinated jam segments, folks who assisted with cameras and videos, folks who arranged the Tee Shirts and all the great fellowship and talent in the Ric community. Thanks to The Starting Gate for providing the facility !!

I really appreciate everyone who brought some of their fellow band-members to perform and add to the festivities... and we all got to meet Jake and enjoy jamming with him and his singing and MIck Jagger performance !! :D Way to go, Jake !!

Special thanks to the nice folks at Guitar Center-Fountain Valley for providing the full drum kit and P.A. system for us !!!

Well, it all seems plausible, in theory, but without some definitive proof in the form of (lots of) pictures we can't be sure this happened at all! :D

Sounds like you guys had a great event. I hope Dano was able to find someone else who knew obscure R.E.M. tunes c.1983.

The Glendora's practice pics are great--Paulie looks like a character out of "Where the Wild Things Are" with that striped shirt!
If it is to be, it is up to me.

Hot dog! This was the most fun I've had since Friday when I met Jon Cryer!

I had so much fun seeing all the different Rics, playing with different and showing my vocal capabilities. The highlight of the night was when I played Gary's 370/12 McGuinn with Byrds Collective and I didn't even know it.

The best guitars I saw were Gary's 370/12 McGuinn, Dan S' 365 OS and Collin's RoMo Rics. I know the guitars I should try and get for future! :D

After I did Mick Jagger, Collin came back to my hotel and we listened to an original song I wrote as well as some rare early Who recordings and remixes that he never heard before.

I have a few pics, but they don't stand out to what everyone else took!

Thanks to my two fellow co-hosts/organizers Paulie & Rich. Paulie, that was awesome getting us a sponsor for the PA and drum kit.
Thanks to everyone for coming and doing their part to make it a fun event.
Thanks again to Scott for the Ricktoberfest design and getting the T-shirts made.
Vito, thanks for subbing on lead guitar for he couple of songs that my blues band did.
Ross, thanks helping pack my Ricks at the end.
Thanks to Ross, Jake and Steve for traveling to the event.
Special thanks to John Hall for coming and hanging out with us. I wish we got to jam with John.
I hope everyone had a fun day.

NO THANKS to my camera battery which had fully discharged after being fully charged. So I have no pics of my own!

Here's a little story that most of you don't know, that I can finally laugh about now. A week and half before Ricktoberfest, TSG was sold shortly after the event was booked. I got a call from the new manager of TSG, telling me that our event could not take place because the date was double booked. This was the fault of the previous manager who didn't keep the calendar up to date, figuring he was out of there soon, he didn't care anymore. So, I stated my case for why we should have the date, but it didn't seem like I was getting anywhere. Paulie was in school and Rich was too busy at work so I couldn't contact them to tell them the news. My level of anxiety was through the roof knowing that I have people traveling from far away for and other who had rearranged their calendar for this. So I contacted JH because he comes up with great ideas. Almost two hours later, I get a call from TSG manager letting me know that we back on. Then I soon started breathing normally again.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I'd like to thank Paulie, Rich and Joey for hosting such a fun event. The amount of planning and co-ordinating such an event amounts to hours and hours of hard work. So guys: Thank you!

Also Skip, Jake and Tom O'Keefe filled in for our missing Byrds Collective members and did a fantastic job. Thanks to all!

Also very special thanks to Diane V. :D :D from everyone, for managing SCARF Security, issuing wrist bands and logging everybody's guitars and basses in, by serial number, at the display room. And thanks, Diane, for taking pictures with my camera when I was playing.

These Confluences would never get half-way off the ground, if we didn't have Diane taking care of so many essentials.!! 8) :D

Also kudos to Brian and Tammi for helping on Camcorder details !!
