I am a Ric bass player, however I do play acoustic electric guitars and have for 40+ years. Of all the available Ric guitars I see on their website, my personal favorite body style is the 600 series. Interesting though, it seems that it isn't a real popular series on the market. Don't see many being bought or sold and I was wondering why that was? I do, however see a ton of 300 series, especial the 330 and 360. Is there a 'behind the scenes' reason for that? Just curious, and trying to learn as I go type thing. Also, as a sidebar, rarely, and I mean rarely, see any acoustic electrics on the market.

I personally think the reason is simply because no guitar hero or pop icon has ever been widely associated with a 600 series guitar. I do what I can but I'm just one man. Oh, and as it turns out, I'm not a guitar hero or pop icon.

Except for Tom Petty's 660/12.Clint wrote:I personally think the reason is simply because no guitar hero or pop icon has ever been widely associated with a 600 series guitar. I do what I can but I'm just one man. Oh, and as it turns out, I'm not a guitar hero or pop icon.
I personally like the 620. Great looking, compact guitar.

Ah, then you'll be pleased to know there's a new release of the album coming, which will includes songs recorded for that album but not originally included.
