Could you redo the 12-string for If I Needed Someone? I don't think it came out...

Also, I'd like to hear the guitars for A Hard Day's Night, I Feel Fine, Ticket to Ride and Eight Days a Week

I think i must be the only one who LOVES the sound of the Helter Skelter bass...... and I love the punky/sloppy/reckless abandon way its played too.

I love it in the mix. Standing alone it's a bit hard to take.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

This just might be the best thread ever!! :)

If requests are still being taken, I would like bass for Octopus's Garden.

I think I've learned a lot from these tracks about McCartney's style that I never realized just listening to the whole mix. One thing is he is a little bit sloppier than I thought and has a lot of string/pick noise. You don't notice these in the mix, but when they are isolated, they stand out a little bit (this is encouraging  ) I've also determined that some of the great recorded bass sounds don't sound all that great, or at least not the way I expected, by themselves. The bass tone in Here Comes the Sun, for instance, sounds harsher and maybe more trebly than it sounds when mixed on the song. That is something for me to remember when playing with others is that the whole ensemble is important, not just the tone of one instrument.

I really hope they release the rest of the catalog as add-on's so we can hear the rest of the tracks we're missing.
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

My thoughts exactly. I first noticed how sloppy some of Paul's bass parts can be when someone posted an isolated Band on the Run about a year ago. Really clunky in a way, but man does it work with the ensemble. You know, I hate to even say something like that, because Paul is among my biggest influences bass-wise (and who am I to even think that?), but the truth to my ear is that Beatles had this odd knack of playing imprecise music very precisely. In this way, RIngo was indeed the perfect drummer for them. He had a rare symbiotic understanding of the imperfect time and was able to play it perfectly. While it's hard to question their ability as singers and songwriters, I think these tracks help to explain how the whole was so much greater than the sum of their parts. They somehow just understood each other, at least for long enough to change music forever.

I had similiar thoughts when I looked at Van Gogh's paintings up close.

I could mix that color,....make that stroke,....accentuate that highlight there,....just as well,.....probably better.

But then,....I'll likely never create or produce anything as comparably brilliant or uniquely original as a Van Gogh.

Sorry guy's between restoring my pick-up, trying to get my Delorean running, and special work training, i've been a bit lax. I will get back into the swing. I have a couple of requests of my own.

1) Just to repeat, I can only isolate what's on the list. I DO have a program and method to remove VOCALS from un-listed tracks, but I cannont use this program to seperate tracks. IF ANYONE WANTS THIS INFO... I WILL POST WITH HOW TO VIDEO.

2) I cannont "clean up" poor tracks. There may be a way to do this, but I do not know how. If anyone does know, please stand up and be counted. (Then let me know how... knowledge is power! )

2A) Please note: Some of these tracks are bad. Especially the early albums. I believe this is because it's difficult to try to multi-seperate stuff that was originally recorded in two track.

I will be going over new requests tomorrow morning. I will do the best I can. To respond to all the thanks... YOU ARE VERY VERY WELCOME! This is a joy to experience and share. :D

Johnny PLEASE REVIEW THE POST ABOVE YOUR LATEST.

The one that says....
1) Just to repeat, I can only isolate what's on the list.
This list can be found on the very 1st post. I do not have the tracks for PENNY LANE, nor any other song NOT on the list.

What part of this song would you like me to isolate? If it's the bass, it's not even woth posting. I just listened to it. It falls into the "early record/****** mix" folder.
