Yesterday our family was at their concert/worship! Great people, songs, atmosphere, sound and quite a few RIC sightings!!!
I also recommend their live DVD from 2008, RIC sounds well captured!!! :D

Cool! I love Hillsongs; they are a great worship band.... we've played a few of their songs on our worship team. Ric guitar or bass sightings, or both?

Ric bass sightings on the worship front are few to nonexistent....I use mine in that setting...the big F word for bass is everywhere in that community...

I might be totally ignorant here, but is this "Hillsongs" concept the same as the congregation that Tanya Levin wrote her book about? These guys: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillsong_Church
Pretty scary bunch if that is the case... :?

I believe the Hillsong worship band originated at this church. Just as there are no perfect people, there are no perfect churches.... as a worship leader I know that all too well, and have sometimes found myself discouraged by the churches I have attended. But I am thankful that even though they are not perfect they are there to bring a message of hope and grace to a world that desperately needs a large measure of both. And I am thankful for the music of groups like the Hillsong worship band, which has been a great blessing and inspiration to me.
