Winfield R to Trapeze tailpiece adapter

Post by Ric_MEL »

Does anyone want to chime in re:

the Winfield accessories..

I'm kicking around the idea of converting my 620/12 ( if I ever get it all adjusted properly... and keep it! )

to a Trapeze tailpiece.. and I don't want to drill any holes.

Looks like these Windfield parts .. would accommodate a bracket that fits like the R bracket. .but accepts a tailpiece..

http://www.winfieldvintage.com/parts/end-hooks.html

Are these parts.. up to RIC standards ?

tnx.

I don't know about these parts in particular, but I've bought a few parts from him and they've all been first rate.

I purchased one of these to hang a trapeze on my 360/12WB and it fits and looks great.

good to hear..

I'd like a trapeze . and this is a good idea: replacement tailpiece that screws right on as the "R" tailpiece.. requires no holes to be drilled..

can always just put the original back on and revert to stock.. if need be. and no worse for the wear

maybe there are times when you can eat your cake. and have it too.

Chip runs a first-rate shop. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
