Is it possible for Tony Levin to just keep getting better and better?
I've been listening to him on a few tracks of Steven Wilson's recent CD "Insurgentes." Really great playing, I think - melodic, at times very aggressive.
The largest known single stem tree (by mass) is a giant sequoia growing in California named the General Sherman. It's also the fastest growing.

Tony Levin might be Beethoven/Dragonetti reincarnate.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

That's a stretch.. but he is my favourite bassist. He is also my favourite touchboard (stick) player...FretlessOnly wrote:Tony Levin might be Beethoven/Dragonetti reincarnate.
Frankly, anyone who can play a touchboard instrument well gets my respect...

Do you know of Greg Howard? I saw him a couple years ago with Michael Manring at Night Town on a double bill.antipodean wrote:Frankly, anyone who can play a touchboard instrument well gets my respect...

When asked for his opinion on playing the Chapman Stick, he replied, "Well, I'm of two minds....."jps wrote:Do you know of Greg Howard? I am always impressed when someone plays the CS to this level.
