Yep, he's been using Ric solidbodies off and since at least the 70s.

He has quite a few, including a Hamer 12 string with a Rick body style. That Sgt. Pepper's DVD is awesome if you havent seen it yet.

Oh yes, I got the Pepper DVD from the USA and rec'd it on the release date!!
Interestingly, Tom Petersson had a 4001 next to his amp and didsn't pick it up during filming.

Hamer made a couple Ric-styled guitars (solidbodies) in the early 80s.
