I did. Canare GS-6 and Neutrik.
So will Neutrik work/fit as well as Switchcraft? Any reason you chose it over Switchcraft?

Neutrik makes some really great stuff, really innovative methods for cable retention, and very high quality...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

What CJ said. And I had them. They were nicer than the older (years ago) Switchcraft plugs I'd had/seen. Can't speak to today's Switchcraft.

What model # Neutrik plugs did you use? There are some ones out there that say they are "thinnest available" 1/4" plugs you can buy, which sounds good, but I just want to make sure I get a good fit for the Rics.

Also, what about the silent plugs? Are they worth it? I heard somewhere they can get stuck in the jack.

Jason, the ones I had have been replaced with this one which looks even more robust.

Switchcraft male plugs aren't what they used to be by the way, and Neutric often doesn's seat quite all the way into many basses with active electronics and end pin jacks. I buy all my cable from Butch at Bayou Cables.
