325 Reissue Headstocks

i thought i heard or read somewhere that for the 325v63, the head stock became smaller starting in 1997 ? ...i have
a '97 and it is smaller.

Yep, around that time. Mine was a '98.

That's kind of interesting, because 1997-ish is when the 4001V63 headstock became shorter.
