Paul McC Tech Trivia Question
I read on another forum that Paul used (uses?) felt picks to play the bass. Seems odd to me - anyone know for sure

Fender Heavy picks I believe, and Fender Medium for guitar, though I'm darned if can I remember where I heard this....

Re: Paul McC Tech Trivia Question
I remember as a kid watching the Let It Be film and thinking that Paul was doing a kind of "pinch" on the strings. I got the impression he was playing with his thumb, but was using his index finger to pluck a muted string at the same time. My thought was that all this would do would be to add a percussive "plunk" along with the note. I have not seen the film in quite a while so I could be completely off the mark with this one. Just going on 30+ year-old memory (sketchy at best!).
