Any one here get my old '69 ?

Post by chefothefuture »

Hi gang, I have not posted in a very long time....
Other things I suppose....
Last year I sold my '69 4001 through a store in Seattle. I was just wondering if it had found a good loving home.

All the best,
chefo

Welcome back John. I hope your '69 made it to a loving home in which it actually gets playing time.

Hey, John, good to hear from you! Hope all is well.

For those who may be interested, here's the link to John's thread containing photos and a description of his '69: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=391496&p=581899#p581899

The pot dates were mentioned in the description, but there wasn't mention of a serial no.

PS Doin' any Sol Hoopii these days?!

Man, that is one beautiful chunk 'o horse-shoed, checker-bound, toaster-sportin', fire-glowin' goodness there!
Probably the nicest example of a '69 that I've ever seen - must have been painful to part with.

I hope you do find her -I've regretted selling my two 4080s (and a number of "other" basses as well) for a long time now, so I empathise with you...
